Southern Cross, formed by Colin, have been playing for several years in pubs and clubs all over London and Hertfordshire. The current line - up includes, Phil Thain on drums Keith Smyth on guitar, and Chris Holly on bass.
Colin has worked with GERRY AND THE PACEMAKERS and THE CLIMAX BLUES BAND.
Other former members of Southern Cross, include members of
THE KINKS, JOHN MAYALL’S BLUESBREAKERS,
and JOHN’S CHILDREN, (an early Marc Bolan band).
Chris is a former member of NERO and the GLADIATORS, (Joe Meek recording artists), and has worked with Roy Orbison.
Southern Cross’s sound is a mixture of R’n’B, COUNTRY-ROCK, BLUES and ROCK, including some interesting cover - versions, and some original songs, mostly written by Colin.
